Flooding, 2 Feb 2008, South Penrith

I went nuts with my camera this afternoon on my way home (made quite a few detours). My trip along the motorway was not fun, and this is what was happening at home.

Lots of my neighbours now have water views. My yard is a boggy mess, and I'm lucky that there is no water in my garage.

When I opened my front door, all the water that was sitting on the ledge went inside, so the carpet is a little on the wet side.

We need the rain, but I'm not sure we really need this much! At least I live close to our main dam, so they should be getting something too.
